Many wonder why our Wildlife Habitat Management concentration is nested within the Bachelor of Science in Forestry curriculum. The reasoning behind this is we teach students that effective habitat management is vital to the existence of healthy wildlife populations. Given that forests dominate the landscape in the southeastern United States, habitat management most frequently involves forest management in this region.
